Service Engineering experience on 0.25 – 600 tonne cranes, SX3, SX4, 400 series, dynadrive, dynahoist, dynacvector inverters. All Morris related equipment and their competitors.
Service engineer experience on 3 phase/single phase, Demag equip. from .25 to 30 tonnes. Parallel and conical rotor motors. Chain and rope hoists throughout whole of product range. Installation of radio controlled handsets and cards, all electrical & mechanical diagnostics. Installation of conductor systems, collectors and transmission overhauls. Brake overhauls and commissioning work.
Working experience on RTG’s, Reach Stackers, Empty Handlers, RORO’s, Tugs; all port related machinery. Single & 3 phase electrical work related to RTG’s, Siemen’s simovert AC-AC & AC-DC drives, fault finding on capacitor banks, PCB boards control for thyristors, snubber modules, IGBT transistors, IGD board for transistor control firing.
Familiar with all internals of these frequency converter drives, Gen-sets, QSX Cummins units with Stamford HCI alternator. 24 volt systems, PLC’s and CAN. All makes of Hyster’s new warehouse trucks (Matrix) and new counter balance (Fortens), Advanced diagnosis using handhelds and laptops for the configuration and adjustments of controllers associated with onboard electro-hydraulic, drive, steering systems,
programming and calibration through service touch pad on dashboard.
All mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic work undertaken on various equipment; stackers, electric pallet handlers etc. Attachment overhaul also done, paper roll clamps, push pull, beer keg stabilizers, overhead brick clamps etc. Although mainly working on Hysters, also part of my remit to service customer trucks i.e., Cat, Boss, Samuk, Clark & Kalmar.
Electric truck work on both Zappy and Safecom boards from contractor replacement to fault finding to component level. Gas trucks with impco and aisin gas systems, comfortable working with any variations of any truck. Also with Canbus systems on newer trucks, uploading of software updates or extra applications files to customer specs
